Learn to Play and Supervised play
Frankston Bridge Club supports anyone who would like to learn to play bridge or maybe is returning to play after a break. We also offer relaxed supervised bridge where you can continue your bridge journey with an experienced teacher there to guide you. Come along to Frankston Bridge Clubrooms at 200 Beach Street, Frankston on any Thursday morning at 11am.
Learn to Play - 11 am every Thursday
There is no charge for the first 6 sessions. You will learn the basics of bridge from an experienced teacher and before you know it you will be able to play at the table with other players. After 6 sessions you can decide whether it is a game you want to continue playing. Learn to play lasts for an hour and a quarter finishing at 12.15pm, but you are welcome to stay and observe the supervised players if you wish.
Supervised bridge - 11 am every Thursday
Once you have the basics of bridge you will need lots of practice in a supportive environment, this is where supervised play comes in. A short lesson* is included every week and your supervisor will provide you with cheat sheets and guide notes as you develop your game. There is a charge of $10 per session. The teacher will be there to help until 12.15pm and then practice bridge continues as long as you and your fellow players want to stay this is usually for an extra hour or so.
The aim is to eventually play in the Thursday afternoon club session which runs from 12.30-3.30pm every Thursday.
* Lesson is Back to Basics and is open to all members at 12 noon
